Summary

A two-round coding competition exclusively in Python for teams of up to 2. Participants will be tested on efficiency, logic, and code readability under time constraints.

Format

  • Round 1 (Prelims): 1-hour session with multiple questions. Top 10 teams advance.
  • Round 2 (Finals): 2-hour session with more advanced problems.
  • Use of the internet is strictly prohibited.

Summary

Future Forge is an inter-school technology innovation challenge that puts your creativity and quick thinking to the test. Teams of 3 design a buildable project to solve a real-world scenario given on the spot.

Format

  • Preparation (1 Hour): Analyze the scenario and prepare a 10-slide presentation or a 3-4 minute video pitch.
  • Pitching (10 Mins): 5 minutes to present the solution, followed by a 5-minute Q&A with judges and opposing teams.

Summary

An inter-school tech quiz designed to challenge young minds on everything from cutting-edge innovations and tech giants to coding logic and internet culture.

Format

  • Prelims: A written round with 20 questions to select the top 6 teams.
  • Finals: The top 6 teams will compete in six diverse rounds of quizzing.
  • Eligibility: Teams of 2, for classes 9-12.
  • Usage of any smart gadgets is strictly prohibited.

Summary

A two-round video editing competition for teams of 2. Teams will be given an on-the-spot theme and must source and edit footage to create a compelling video.

Format

  • Round 1: 40 minutes for sourcing clips and 1 hour 20 minutes for editing.
  • Round 2 (Finale): 1 hour of editing time for qualified teams.
  • Video quality must be a minimum of 720p.

Summary

A photography and editing contest for teams of 2. Participants will be given an on-spot theme (an emotion or feeling) and must capture a photo on campus that embodies it, then enhance it through editing.

Key Rules

  • Duration: 3 hours total.
  • Editing (Allowed): Color grading, contrast/brightness, cropping, and use of apps like Lightroom or Snapseed.
  • Editing (Not Allowed): Adding/removing objects, combining images, adding text, or using AI tools.

Robotics Rumble

Category: 8 & 9

Summary

A robotics competition for students of classes VIII and IX in teams of up to 2. Quarky robots will be provided, but participants must bring their own laptops for programming with Pictoblox (block coding). A maximum of three teams is allowed from each school.

Format

  • A briefing session will be available for newcomers to Quarky.
  • The competition consists of three acts: Labyrinth Chase (maze), Puzzle Protocol (riddle), and The Gauntlet (finale).
